We’ve officially announced the first round of speakers for TEDxMileHigh: Humankind here. We like to keep the exact subject of their talks a secret, but you can find clues on their profiles.

A food + drink ticket will be available for each ticket holder to trade at a food truck of your choice within the Sculpture Park, but we encourage everyone to eat well before the event. There will be multiple opportunities during breaks to buy more food vouchers as well. In addition, you can expect some light snacks to be provided throughout the day.

As tickets represent an important part of funding for TEDxMileHigh, our policy is that tickets can be given to anyone (AXS provides PDF tickets that may be emailed to anyone). As such, we do not offer refunds.

Yes, if you are unable to use the ticket, you can email the PDF to the person you are sending in your place or give them your paper ticket.

Tickets are general assembly for conference attendees i.e. there is no guarantee that you will sit in the same seat every session. The benefit to that is you get to meet new people! In addition, you can purchase tickets at separate times as they do not reserve a specific seat.
VIP and All-Access attendees are granted priority seating. We recommend arriving when the doors open or soon after to give you and your party enough time before the event starts to find seats together.

Officially, no ties necessary. Unofficially, we suggest dressing up in your favorite creative business casual attire. There will be photo opportunities, in case that’ll help you decide on what creative business casual means to you!

Our attendees vary in age from young to old, and we’d love to have your family join us. Although the talks are meant for a general audience, we do realize that not every topic may not be found age appropriate for young people depending on your discretion. While that discretion is up to you, no talks are uncomfortably graphic. If anything, we hope all of our talks provide an opportunity for great conversation and dialogue amongst your family!

Yes! We provide a limited amount of space for writing in our programs, but it’s always worth bringing pen and paper for that moment when you hear something that could be life changing!

We encourage you to walk, bike, car pool, or take public transportation. The Temple Hoyne Buell Theatre is a few steps to the Convention Center Light Rail Station. You can also take the 16th Street Mall free shuttle up until Champa, Stout, California, or Welton and walk the remaining two blocks.
Otherwise, please allow 20-30 extra minutes to park. We recommend parking in the DCPA Complex Garage, located directly across from the Buell Theatre. You can access the DCPA garage on Arapahoe St and 13th Ave (use this map as a reference). The garage charges roughly $15 for event-related parking.
