Group Muse is changing what it means to build community in the modern world through centuries-old music. Utilizing the power of social networking, Groupmuse has created secular, sacred spaces in living rooms across the country for community members to gather together and connect with transcendent experiences. With a fully sustainable and radically progressive business model and over 3,000 “groupmuses” organized, the Groupmuse is showing how values-driven organizations can help foster the sublime in the everyday.

Join us for an intimate classical music string quartet performance and experience with Groupmuse Founder and CEO Sam Bodkin and some of Denver’s finest classical musicians. Sam will share the vision for making classical music common in people’s homes and the cultural context for the musical piece as we share an experience of beauty and transcendence.

Groupmuse aims to create meaning and fulfillment in people’s lives and to change the way that people understand the role of great art in daily life. We do this by using great classical music to build local communities safely and inclusively and by empowering communities to support local professional artists. We use fair and transparent systems to make these connections wherever musicians and audiences are ready for them.

Groupmuse Founder and CEO, Sam Bodkin, is a ukulele-playing people’s history enthusiast who is interested in building decentralized initiatives that merge the political, social, cultural, ecological and spiritual.
