Jeremy Duhon
Jeremy is a Partner at Denver Investments where he serves as Co-Portfolio Manager of the Westcore International Frontier Fund (WTIFX), which earned the 2012 Lipper Fund Award and the 2013 Lipper Fund Award for its five-year risk adjusted performance (within the International Small/Mid Cap Growth Funds category) as of December 31, 2011 and December 31, 2012, respectively. The fund was also named by Smart Money as one of the Top 100 Mutual Funds in 2011 based on its five-year performance. Prior to joining Denver Investments in 2004, he spent two years as a Fellow with El Pomar Foundation where he served as the Senior Investment Fellow. Jeremy’s community involvement mirrors his success as a professional money manager. He served as the South State Director of the El Pomar Youth in Community Service (EPYCS) Program and the Director of the American Council of Young Political Leaders (ACYPL) Program (Russian Delegation; Colorado Study). From 2002-2004, he served as the Executive Manager of the Center for International Exchange – U.S. He served on the YNPN Denver Board for seven years, including terms as Treasurer, Professional Development Chair, and President. In 2006, he developed and launched the YNPN Learning Circles Program. Previously, he served a term as a Board member and officer of YNPN National. He is a past partner of the Social Venture Partners and a past Board Member of the Gordian Fund and served on the Grantmaking Committees of both organizations. He is the Founding President of the Pueblo Opportunity Fund and the Founder and Curator of TEDxMileHigh. In 2010, Duhon was selected as one of the Top 25 Most Influential Young Professionals in Colorado by ColoradoBiz Magazine. Duhon is a CFA charter holder and received a BA in Neuroscience from Pomona College.
Jason Dilg
Jason Dilg’s endless curiosity and participant focus makes him a sought after Program Director, and he has conducted conferences of widely different topics and scales. His two most recent assignments at The Van Heyst Group included the on-site direction of the Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa Forum in Accra, Ghana, that is bringing to life former Secretary General Kofi Annan’s call for a sustainable agriculture revolution for the continent. He previously developed Turning the Tide 2010, a program of the Golden Gate Conservancy that brought together global business leaders, activists and artists to turn the tide on global climate change. He also ran for three years the Cisco CIO Summit that had in attendance 125 CIOs of the largest global companies around the world. Previously, Dilg held communications roles on behalf of the US Senate energy committee, Mapleton Public Schools, and the Clinton White House. He has also worked as a political consultant, teacher, writer, and editor and plays the fiddle, banjo and guitar at concerts and private events.
Nikki Martin
Nikki Martin is founder and principal of Chatterbrain, a public relations firm that blends traditional PR and social web strategies to actively engage audiences and drive desired outcomes. Specializing in the education, technology, health care and consumer products fields, Nikki has led numerous high-profile communications initiatives, from pubic education campaigns to corporate restructurings, and grassroots engagement efforts to crisis management and prevention. A 15-year communications veteran, Nikki is a former broadcast journalist who worked as a news producer at several TV stations, including Denver (The Denver Channel). In 2002, The Denver Business Journal recognized Nikki as one of Denver’s up-and-coming business leaders in its ‘Forty Under 40’ list. She has served as a guest lecturer at Metro State College of Denver and supports several nonprofits, including Kunsberg School, Project C.U.R.E., Pencils of Promise, and Volunteers of America, among others.
Nancy Schoemann
As an independent contractor, Nancy specializes in volunteer engagement, organizational development, and event management for nonprofit organizations. She has worked on events ranging from boutique service projects and professional development events to large-scale service days and conferences. Regardless of the size, Nancy focuses on creating high-impact events that benefit everyone involved. Her current and recent clients include the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network Denver, Metro Volunteers, the Colorado Volunteer Center Network, and Serve Colorado – Governor’s Commission on Community Service. She graduated magna cum laude with high honors in Child Development from Vanderbilt University. Proud to be a second generation National Service member, Nancy began her nonprofit career serving as an AmeriCorps member and currently serves on the Senior Advisory Board for the InterCorps Council Colorado.
