Nathaniel Koloc is working at the intersection of informed idealism, self-awareness, and career strategy. In college he studied Global Human Impact Studies, an examination of global ecological trends and how they relate to human economic activity. For his thesis, he oversaw the designa and planning for an ecological wastewater treatment facility in Zanzibar, Tanzania. He worked for 12 different companies in his first year out of school, giving him a range of experiences from rain barrel installations and home energy auditing, to outdoor education and ecotourism, to startup business development and information design consulting. While attending graduate school in Sweden, he arrived at the conclusion that what will allow companies and organziations to transition our society to a state of health and resiliency is having the right people, with the right skills, playing the right roles. Nathaniel returned from Sweden to attend the 2011 Unreasonable Institute, where ReWork was born. ReWork helps talented professionals find meaningful work at companies that are making the world a better place.
